Thus, they offer a wide selection of skincare products to care for all the different skin issues.

As beauty lovers, we both agree that skincare is really important (you can probably tell through the products we use). We each have different skin issues and we use different skincare products to address these issues. Our ultimate goal is to have happy and healthy skin! One of the many types of products we have in our skincare routines are masks. Not only can masks help to care for a variety of skincare issues, they are also very relaxing and everyone needs a little me-time now and then. So we always have a stash of masks on hand and we are always on the look out for new masks to add to our stash. Some of the masks we got to try recently are from Skin18, let's get to know them.

🌸Mini Review🌸 Soc 3D Beauty Serum Face Mask Pack in Lipidure (Moisturizing) ~~~~~~~~~~ This is a unique mask mostly in its design/cut style. It is different than all the other masks I have tried in the past and I admit I had mixed feelings about it. The Soc 3D masks have this seam like center that helps to create the mask's 3D effect. It is made to fit the face better, however, it created an awkward fit on my face instead. Especially the mouth area, where it was cut too small for me. The awkward design also made certain areas pop up instead of sticking to the face. I eventually took a pair of clean scissors (which I use only for masks) to make slits in the mask for it for fit better. One thing I did like of the mask design is that the mask extends all the way down the chin and ends just before the neck. This is a decent moisturizing mask. It left my skin feeling soft and smooth as well. I left the mask on for about 30 minutes before folding and moving it to my neck for another 20 minutes. Scent wise, this mask has a light and fresh floral scent. The scent is more noticeable in the mask pouch and less noticeable once the mask has been applied to the face. Thank you @skin18com for this mask! Soc 3D Beauty Serum Face Mask Pack (Lipidure) Moisturizing

Helen's Thoughts: The 3D mask is designed to fit the face like a glove, but that was not the case for me. This was my first 3D masks and as I mentioned in the mini review, it was not what I expected and the fit was actually awkward. The 3D mask idea is really nice but as with all mask that are one size fits all, it really would not fit everyone nicely. So while I liked the idea, the actual fit was a little disappointing. The scent was good for me, it is a nice light floral scent that did not linger. The mask is not the best moisturizing mask I have ever tried but it is decent. It did retain moisture well and the mask came with plenty of extra essence as well. The packaging design is nice. As you can see in the picture, it is in the shape of a serum bottle. Unfortunately, most of the information on the mask are in Japanese. However, Skin18 offers detailed information about the product, so I did not have to worry. The Beauty Serum mask line has 6 types of masks in total targeting different skin issues.

Ingredients: Water, glycerin, butylene glycol, hydrolyzed collagen, sodium hyaluronate, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, lactobacillus/panax ginseng root ferment filtrate, folic acid, human oligopeptide-1, lecithin, PEG/PPG-18/4 copolymer, polusorbate 20, propylene glycol, glyceryl acrylate/acrylic acid copolymer, carbomer, PVM/MA copolymer, polyquaternium-51, hydroxyethylcellulose, disodium EDTA, sodium ascorbyl phosphate, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, alcohol, pgenoxyethanol, triethanolamine, allantoin, tocopheryl acetate, methylparaben, perfume.

🌸Mini Review🌸 Luke Mugwort Nose Strip ~~~~~~~~~~ I have a love-hate relationship with pore strips. I like them because they are so satisfying to use but I don't like them because they can be harsh on the skin. I use to use them a lot but now I use them sparingly. This Luke Mugwort Nose Strip was okay in my opinion. I went through my normal routine with pore strips, which is steam towel first to open pores then apply the strip on. Usually this routine helps to maximize my pore strip's effects, but this time it was just okay. The pore strip has an odd scent. I expected some herbal scent and while there's a bit of that, it also kind of smell like an old container or something. It was kind of weird and I didn't like it at all. Overall, this pore strip is nothing amazing but still decent. Luke Mugwort Nose Strip

Michelle's Thoughts: I wasn't ecstatic about this nose strip. As I've mentioned time and time again pore strips and I have a love-hate relationship. I like that they are so satisfying to use but at the same time they are harsh on the skin too. So nowadays I only use them sparingly. I kind of went into this pore strip blind because there wasn't a full ingredient list on Skin18's website for this product. They listed some ingredients such as vitamin E, aloe extract, licorice root extract, and mugwort but it's not the full list. So I used with caution because it's kind of hard to patch test pore strips. Anyways, I can't say I'm a fan of this pore strip. It was decent but it had some flaws too. The biggest flaw for me was that it didn't come off clean. I had bits of nose strip (the sticky part) left on my nose after I peeled it off. So I had to do some extra cleansing. Its removal power was meh and as I mentioned in my mini review, the scent was just weird.

🌸Mini Review🌸 Mirum Fresh Fruit Honey Real Natural Mask Pack ~~~~~~~~~~ Lately, I keep coming across masks that are just okay and this mask was one of them. This mask is made from 100% cotton. It is a little on the thick side for masks and for me it didn't stick to my face as nicely as some of my other masks. However, it does have a decent cut. The Honey mask is supposed to provide hydration and nourishment to the skin. Which it does, but the hydrating power isn't super just good. This mask has a sweet honey scent but kind of artificial as well. One good thing about this mask is that it came with plenty of essence. Not only was I able to wear the sheet mask longer, I also had excess essence to apply on my neck and chest as well. Thank you @skin18com 😊, 1 more mini review to come. #dtcblog #kbeauty #bbloggers #rasianbeauty #review #beautyblogger #instablogger #honey #koreanskincare #instabeauty #facial #instaskincare #skincare #beauty #facecare #hydrate #beautycare #sheetmasks #sheetfaced #skin18 #Mirum

Mirum Fresh Fruit Honey Real Natural Mask Pack

Michelle's Thoughts: I've tried plenty of honey masks and there was nothing special about this one. I mentioned some of the reasons why I wasn't a fan of it in my mini review, so I won't repeat it here. It was nice that the mask had a lot of extra essence to spare but I wish it had offered better skincare benefits as well. I think this could work as a beginner mask, but as a seasoned mask lover this was a bit disappointing.

Ingredients: Water, glucerin, butylene glycol, carbomer, disodium EDTA, allantoin, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, PEG-60, hydrogenated castor oil, honey extract (500ppm), sodium hyaluronate, methylparaben, ceteth-1-20, steareth-20, tocopheryl acetate, glyceryl stearate, celearyl alcohol, neopentyl glycol dipcaprate, cetyl ethylhexanoate, phenoxyethanol, triethanolamine, fragrance.

L'Affair Animal Soothing Monkey Mask

Helen's Thoughts: This is a cute mask and since it is the year of the Monkey, this is quite fitting. I think this mask would fit under skincare entertainment because of the monkey design. Adorably designed masks are all the rage as they are fun to use and make great gifts. This mask was good in its skincare promises as it felt soothing when I used it. However, the biggest downside for me was the scent. As I mentioned in my mini review, the mask had a cheap shampoo scent. So while the mask felt soothing on the skin, the scent was obnoxious.

Ingredients: Water, dipropylene glycol, PEG/PPG-17/6 copolymer, panthenol, betaine, sodium hyaluronate, beta0glycan, aloe barbadenis leaf extract, hydrolyzed collage, portylaca oleracea extract, camellia sinensis leaf extract, hamamelis virginiana extract, centella asiatica leaf extract, chamomilla recutita (matricaria) extract, acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil, potassium hydroxide, sodium PCA, propanediol, illicium verum (anise) fruit extract, caprylyl glycol, ethytlhexylglyderin, dimethicone, 1,2-hexanediol, phenoxyethanol, disodium EDTA, citrus aurantium bargamia (bergamot) fruit oil.

Final Thoughts: Masks are often hits or misses. For most, you probably won't know if they work or not until you try them. We are glad we got the chance to try out some new masks from brands that are new to us. While some of these masks were okay, others were disappointing. But that's life you know. We'll keep trying new masks and hope the next ones make HG level!
