Intro to K-Pop Star Makeup Box #SoPretty Vol. 2 Memebox Unboxing
What kind of beauty boxes do you like to purchase? Skin care? Makeup? Body care? Others? I find myself liking makeup beauty boxes a lot these days. I think it's because I have a lot of skin care products from previous skincare beauty boxes, so I'm more selective when it comes to skincare. However, makeup is something I don't have a lot of yet. So, it's fun to pick up a box here and there. I purchased this Intro to K-Pop Star Makeup Box #SoPretty Vol. 2 a while ago and I actually purchased it with the Intro to K-Pop Star Makeup Box #SoHot Vol. 3 and a couple of other items. These 2 boxes caught my eyes because they both have products I've been wanting to try and I think their colors are compatible with each other.
If you are new to Memebox, they are a beauty box company based in US, China, and South Korea. They sell non-subscription boxes and Korean beauty products via their online website. They also sell their own line of cosmetics and skin care products as well. If you check my Memebox tag on the blog, you'll see all the Memebox boxes and products I've reviewed. Anyways, let's meet the goodies I got in this box!
Meme Mask Hydrogel Mask

Product Description: A nutrient rich hydrogel mask that can help brighten and moisturize the skin. It can be used at night time to unwind from a long day. Or used before makeup application to hydrate and even out skin texture. To use, cleanse and tone the face first. Apply the mask and leave it on for 15 minutes.
My Thoughts: You guys know I've gotten this mask in previous Memeboxes before. It's quite a popular Memebox brand product, as a lot of people rave about it. I haven't gotten around to try this mask yet. I will though and I'll be sure to share a review on it when I do.

Product Description: A multi-purpose product that can be used for the lips and cheeks. Its vibrant, long lasting color applies creamy and dries to a light matte finish. The product can be blended for a gradient lip look or it can be used to create a vibrant hot pink lip look. It also doubles as a cheek product, making it easy for on the go touch ups.
My Thoughts: I have been watching SoYoung's Youtube channel for ages, so I was super excited to get this. She shared in a video of her's that she chose the colors, formulation, design, etc. for her line of products with Memebox. So I am excited to see how well this lip & cheek will work. I also love multi-purpose products, will report back on this!

Product Description: Color, define, and highlight the eyes with this convenient and retractable eyeshadow stick. It's waterproof, crease resistant formula will stay put all day. This color can be used all over the lid as a primer or applied to the inner corners to highlight. Good Morning is a nude, pink beige color.
My Thoughts: I don't think I have that many stick shadows. I'm always drawn towards palettes instead of stick shadows, but I'm always down to try new things. So, I can't wait to test this out. With hooded, semi-oily eyelids I'm always worried about my eyeshadow smudging, creasing, or disappearing on me, so I wonder if this shadow stick will really be as long lasting as it claims.

Product Description: A moisturizing tint balm that reacts to the temperature of your lips and sets to a flattering color that lasts. The tint balm is infused with herbal ingredients to moisturize and nourish the lips. The is the old formula for the I'm Tint Balm.
My Thoughts: I have been in love with tinted lip balms ever since I tried Innisfree's Eco Flower Tint Balms (review to come!). I've been obsessed actually. So, when I saw this I'm lip tint balm, I knew I'd want to try it. I think the main reason why I love tinted lip balms so much is because they don't accentuate the dry areas on the lips. My lips get dry and chapped easily, especially now that it's fall. Lipsticks can almost always accentuate those dry and chapped areas, making it hard for me to use them. Lip gloss does the same too, so I usually just stick to lip balms. Tint lip balms seems to be the best of both worlds for me as it provides a touch of color to my lips while moisturizing it and it does not accentuate my dry patches. Can't wait to test this one out!

Product Description: Gorgeous pink rosy gold sparkly cream eyeshadow. This is a multi-faceted pearl pigment that goes on smoothly and it's long lasting too. Its formula allows for great pigmentation with minimal fall outs.
My Thoughts: Oh lala, a sparkly eyeshadow with minimal fall-outs. This I'll have to test out and see. There's a side of me that love super glittery eyeshadows, even though I rarely use them because many have crazy fall-outs. I don't want to look like a disco ball. I can't wait to try it out, will report back!
I'm Pro Mascara
$14, #02 Volume & Curl
Product Description: A mascara with a unique C-curl shape wand. This will help make the lashes look fuller. The new formula is also lightweight and can hold the curls much longer than the previous formula. The mascara is also enriched with vitamin E, collagen and keratin to provide nourishment to the lashes to keep them healthy and long.
My Thoughts: Hmm, I'm still pretty picky about mascaras. It's one of the few item group that I lean towards none AB brands for because they just seems to suit me better. The only mascara like product that I use currently that is AB is the Etude House Clear Top Coat. That thing is my lifesaver and ensures that whatever mascara I wear, it won't smudge. Anyways, I'm kind of excited to try this volume and curl mascara. Guess we'll just have to see how well it works.

Final Thoughts: This is a pretty great makeup box. I am most excited for the tint balm, the multi-purpose lip & cheek product and the glittery cream shadow. I semi-excited for the mascara, stick shadow and hydrogel mask. Overall, this is a great box with a pretty decent value. I think it's great for those who are new to K-pop makeup or who want to try out Memebox's own makeup products.
