Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask Shea Butter Review
Hey Dreamers and Creators!
What's one type of skin care product you must have at all times? For me, it's masks. I've been fond of masks for years now and I always make sure to have a stash of it on hand. Over the years, I've tried many masks, yet my wishlist of masks to try just keeps on growing. There are just so many new and innovative mask creations these days, that I can't help but want to try them all. Before that though, I wanted to get through a couple of masks that's been on my list for a long time. Mainly, the Innisfree masks.
Innisfree has been a favorite brand of mine for quite a long time. They are inexpensive and many of their products are great for my skin. I've tried a couple of their masks before but it wasn't until last year when Innisfree opened their Global website that I decided to give all of their masks a try. When I say all, I mean all. I don't know what got into me but once the decision was made, there was no going back. Luckily, Innisfree has mask promotions from time to time, so I can get their masks for half the price. This makes my wallet a little bit happier.
Anyways, today is Mask Monday and I am going to review the Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask in Shea Butter. This mask is in the same line as the Blackberry ones. Let's get to it!
Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask
1 mask, $1.2 - $2 ,Shea Butter
Product Description: Sheet mask made with Innisfree's triple layered sheet to help create long lasting moisturizing effects so the essences can be absorbed into the skin easily. The Shea Butter mask is formulated with shea butter to deliver moisture deep into the skin. It's also formulated with Innisfree's signature Jeju Green Complex blend which includes: green tea, tangerine, cactus, camelia leaves, and orchid to keep the skin healthy.
To Use: Take the mask out of its packaging and apply it to the skin after its been cleansed and toned. Leave the mask on for 10 to 20 minutes, then remove.
Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Dimethicone, PEG-100 Stearate, Carbomer, Shea Butter(20mg), Xanthan Gum, Ethylhexylglycerin, Potassium Hydroxide, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Sodium Hyaluronate, Prickly Pear Extract, Camellia Leaf Extract, The green Tea Extract, Orchid Extract, Tangerine Peel Extract, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance.
Packaging: All of Innisfree's It's Real Squeeze mask line have similar packaging styles. Since this is the Shea Butter mask, the feature in the front is that of Shea Butter. I really like this simple and to the point packaging.
Scent: The mask has a mild and pleasant Shea Butter scent. It's mixed with some fragrance that I can't put my finger on but I don't hate it.
Texture: The sheet mask itself is soft and soaked with essence. It's easily tear-able and great for adjustments to fit the face.
Color: The essence comes in a white, milky color. It's also a bit opaque as well.
My Thoughts: This is actually a fairly decent mask. For its price, it is totally worth it. It's a very moisturizing mask and for my skin type I prefer to use it more in winter times than summer times. This mask will probably never make it into my Holy Grail mask collection because it just doesn't feel HG to me. I didn't have that 'it's so awesome, I'm going to use this for the rest of my life' feeling with it.
I think I like the mask for 3 main reasons. First is that it is super inexpensive. Especially when Innisfree has it on sale for like $0.6 a piece, it is super worth it. Second is that it is a moisturizing mask that doesn't irritate my skin, which is nice. The third is that the mask sheet is easily tear-able, so I can fit it to my face easily.
However, like the Blackberry masks from the same line, this Shea Butter mask can leave a bit of a sticky feeling behind for me. Which is my biggest issue with it. I am not fond of that sticky feeling at all. The effects of the mask also do not last long, maybe a day at best.
While this is not exactly a negative of the mask, the Shea Butter Mask's only function is to moisturize. This is great for people who only want to get some moisture into their skin. However, for others who want moisture and some, this may not be the best choice.
One sheet mask selfie coming up! It's probably not the most glamorous picture of all times, but hey, my skin was enjoying itself so that's all that matters.
Pros:
-moisturizing
-affordable
-easy to use
Cons:
-can leave a sticky residue
My Rating: ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ♡
Final Thoughts: I consider the Innisfree It's Real Squeeze line's masks to be very affordable, which they are. You can buy dozens of them when they are on sale without feeling guilty about it. I actually bought a bunch of these when Innisfree had it's sale and I am slowly getting through all of them. Would I repurchase this in the future? Probably not. There are a lot of masks in the world and I want to try them all (if possible lol). This Shea Butter mask didn't leave me with a HG feeling and it's just a good moisturizing mask. So I think I can find better else where.
