Vivito Dressin Solution Lip and Eye Makeup Remover Review
Hey Dreamers and Creators!
What's your favorite lip and eye makeup remover?
About 6 months ago, I dug this Vivito Dressin Solution Lip and Eye makeup remover out of my 'products to try box' because I was running low on my then makeup remover and wanted to test this out. This came in the Memebox Oh! My Lips Superbox I purchased last year. Before this, I never had a holy grail Lip & Eye makeup remover and to be honest I didn't think I'd ever find one. However, after using this for the past 6 months, it has really changed my mind. Needless to say, I love it, a lot. Let's jump in to see why I love this Vivito Dressin Solution Lip and Eye makeup remover so much~ Man, such a long name.
Vivito Dressin Solution Lip & Eye Remover

Its solutions are gentle and does not irritate the sensitive eyes and lips areas. The formula contains a gentle blend of rosehip oil and lemon grass oil to provide a soothing and moisturizing effect during each use.

Color: When unshaken, the liquids are clear with just a tint of blue, but once shaken, it becomes a cloudy, opaque solution.
Packaging: The packaging is pretty unique. The remover comes in a pretty standard rectangular box, however it's the blurb on the box that makes it unique. It says "Meet the new skin. Vivito Touch. That awakens skin color. Promotes optimal skin conditions awakens hidden color. Skin with just a touch. Awakens hidden color dressin solution lip and eye remover. Unbelievable change on you. Vivito, the color magician.
Yeah, not everything there makes complete sense, but you get the general idea of what they are trying to say. I find that most Asian companies market their eye and lip makeup remover as 'lip and eye remover'. See the issue there? It's all in the wording, not a big deal but I'd rather not have something that removes my lips and eyes. Just the makeup on it okay?
Aside from the blurb, the packaging also includes an ingredients list, in English (hallelujah!). You guys know how hard and long it is to translate ingredient lists so I was quite happy to find that this came with an English ingredients list. Good job Vivito, thumbs up! I was unable to get a good picture of this, but the sides of the box looks awesome too. It's got the brand name Vivito printed in some clear ink. It's super hard to photograph, but when you tilt it under the light, it reflects and looks super awesome. Almost forgot, the cap on this bottle is amazing. Super travel friendly, it's yet to spill during my travels. It's got a safety cap where you have to push down, then turn to open.
Scent: A herbal oil like scent dominates the smell in this bottle. It's got a hint of floral notes as well, but not as strong as the herbal scent. It's not a super overwhelming scent, but I can see some people not liking it. I wasn't fond of it too much at first. Despite the scent lightening in seconds and becoming more mellow and relaxing, at first sniff, it's pretty strong. Still I managed to get used to the scent over the past 6 months, so it doesn't seem so bad now.
My Thoughts: This is probably the first eye and lip makeup remover to pass my makeup removing test, easily. That's saying something. I used some of my hardest to remove eye and lip makeup (you'll see them below) and was surprised that it removed all of them was ease. No need to rub hard or anything like that, I was amazed. It comes in a 100ml bottle and 6 months later, I'm not even 1/3 way through it which means it will last me for a long time.
A lot of eye and lip makeup remover requires me to soak the cotton pad and place it on my eye/lip for like 30 seconds before rubbing to remove the makeup. Even then, sometimes it doesn't remove all the makeup off and I have to use a second soaked cotton pad to remove it all. Since I have sensitive skin, I'm always super careful with finding a remover that isn't irritating. Which, is surprisingly harder to find than imagined. So I was quite happy that this Vivito remover is not irritating at all.
One of the biggest issues I had with lip and eye makeup removers in the past is that it can be drying. It's already hard to find one that doesn't irritate, removes makeup well and adding the none drying, it's almost none existent. But they do exist, just super hard to find. This Vivito Dessin Soultion Lip & Eye Remover would be a perfect example of that hard to find but does exist perfect remover! It's seriously my go to, HG remover.
The only down side, as I mentioned above, is its scent. The mainly herbal scent is not going to suit everyone. I wasn't too fond of it at first but I did get use to it.
Want to see its awesome removing power? Check out the images below~
Here's what I used on my hand:
-Etude House proof 10 primer under the eyeshadows
-Maybelline Color 24 HR Tattoo Metal
-Dolly Wink eyeshadow quad
-Dolly Wink waterproof eyeliner
-YET Merry Tint (this is the super hard to remove lip makeup that many other removers have failed at removing fully before)
-Elle Girl I Say Tint You Say Gloss (another hard to remove lip product)
I let it all sit for 20 minutes to settle in before removing it. The result? See for yourself below. All traces of makeup removed with ease. I was all giddy inside when I saw this because it was amazing. You can see the makeup on the cotton pad too, yuck. I also tested it after a couple of 12 hours makeup days and the remover, again, removed my makeup with ease. That's when I became convinced that this is a good remover.
Pros:
-removes lip and eye makeup well
-moisturizing
-soothing
-no irritation
-affordable
-travel friendly
Cons:
-herbal scent might not be suitable for everyone
My Rating: ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
Final Thoughts: I love, LOVE this lip and eye makeup remover by Vivito. Aside from the scent (which I've gotten used to it), it is perfect. I love the design of the bottle with the unique safety cap which makes it travel friendly and no spills! I love how easily it removes my makeup and does not irritate my skin at all. It's also quite soothing and moisturizing as well, so no more worries about remover that dries my lips. Finally, it's pretty darn affordable, since you get a lot for your buck. Would I purchase this again in the future? Most definitely! The only slight issue is that this eye remover is currently sold out just about anywhere expect for Vivito Korea's website. I'm not sure if they ship overseas, however, there's also shopping services like Avecko to help you purchase items from Korea and ship it to you.
Until next time!
