It's MemeTastic months this November and December! I'm not complaining, plenty of makeup and skincare products to test out and experiment on. Today, I will be unboxing the Memebox Thumbs Up! Bloggers' Picks. I bought this box for $32 plus shipping in a box bundle with the Miracle Mask Box. Pretty excited for this box since every product except one is new to me. Let's get started!


The curation of this box was suppose to be something special. Some Memebox bloggers were sent a survey to pick the best products from past memeboxes. (I was not part of the bloggers whom were surveyed.) Memebox was to curate a box based on those bloggers' choices. However, as it seems, by the negativity cast upon this box after it was received that Memebox did not honor some of the bloggers' picks. This was disappointing, not only to bloggers who were surveyed but also to people who purchased the box and thought that the items would be chosen by bloggers. Still, this box came with 8 products, let's see what they are.





LadyKin Aqua Exfoliator For Body
150ml, $14, Featured in OMG #1 Box

A body exfoliator formulated with cellulose components from papaya and pineapple extracts. This aqua exfoliator will remove dead skin cells and impurities on the body. Simply spray the product over the body and gently roll away dead skin cells.

I already have another aqua exfoliator that I like a lot, which it called Cure. I will give this one a try, since I've read that Ladykin have some pretty decent stuff. Will report back. If anything, I do like this spray bottle. If the exfoliator doesn't end up working well, at least I'll have a new spray bottle!


Secret Key Color Recipe The Pink Cream
55g, $34, Featured in Pinkaholic Box

Specifically targets signs of fine lines and wrinkles on the face, this product works to tighten and lift up dry and sagging skin for a more youthful and healthy looking complexion. To apply, simply massage the cream over the face until the capsules from the cream pop and is absorbed completely into the skin.

This product I like a lot. It's got a light sweet scent plus a unique texture! It contains little beads know as the "capsules" and these capsules will pop when you massage the cream onto the face. I'm really interested to see how well it will work to tighten the skin and all, will report back in a couple of weeks!

Evas Cosmetics Vitamin Cleansing Dessert
130g, $18, Featured in My Cute Wishlist #2 Box

Evas Cosmetics Vitamin Cleansing dessert will remove makeup and impurities. It's micro bubbles will clean out your pores to give you flawless skin. To use, take an appropriate amount and massage gently onto wet face.

Okay, the packaging is adorable and you all know I have a soft spot for cute and adorable things! The cleanser I received is Red Wine, which smells divine! I wish it came in a tube instead of a jar, but I guess this just means a spatula is needed and more work for me. It's a cream cleanser that's actually a bit thicker than I thought it would be, however, it lathers nicely.

N.S.M ReBorn Tint
5g, $18, Featured in Memebox Makeup Edition

The tint comes in 3 types, which are sorbet tint, sorbet melting tint, and exciting snow cooling tint. All 3 tints, once applied, creates a bio-film over the lips to protect and moisturize the lips.

This is like my 10th lip product in a Memebox now. The one I got is the ReBorn Sorbet Tint in R07. As much as I love finding different lip products, I already have a lot. So I will be giving this one away.
Croquis Dual Concealer
8.1g, $27, Featured in Girls Night Out Box

A two sided concealer containing an anti-wrinkle concealer and a spot concealer at each end. Can be used to conceal blemishes or used to cover makeup smudges. Use the anti-wrinkle concealer to conceal fine lines and wrinkles. Use the spot concealer to cover blemishes.

This looks like a neat concealer. The dual ends will definitely come in handy. The 2 brushes on each end are a little different too. One is a normal concealer applicator and the other is a mini-brush applicator. The color on the left side is also lighter than the right. I find that it conceals pretty good. However, it's not my favorite concealer because it's thicker than I would like.
Hair+ Velvet Nutri-Injection
12ml, $5, Featured in Jackpot Box

A hair serum to repair damaged hair. To apply, simply take an appropriate amount and massage it into the hair.

I got this product in my Jackpot box. Like the one in my Jackpot box, it will be given to my mom, who have shorter hair than I do. It will be much more useful for her than for me.
Purebess Galactomyces 100%
50ml, $15, Featured in Whole Grain Box

This is a toner, a first step in the skincare routine after cleansing. It will help to remove signs of fine lines and deliver an effect of naturally glowing skin. To use, take a drop or 2 and gently pat it into the skin.

According to many bloggers who took the survey to curate this box, this was the only item on their lists that Memebox included in this box. They raved about this a lot so I'm excited to add it to my list of toners to try in the future.
23 Years Old Air-laynic Pore Mask
1ea, $14, Featured in Luckybox #7

A unique pore mask that comes with one syringe and 2 mask sheets. The serum is in the syringe. The serum is a gel type ampoule. It's used to tighten enlarged pores and clear blemishes on the nose and cheeks. To use, apply the ampoule over the plain sheet mask then place it over the nose and cheeks area. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes. Remove mask after and rinse off.

I haven't tried this yet. However, I am rather excited for it. It sounds like quite a bit of work and I already have so many ready made sheet masks to use so I will save this one for when I have more time.

Final Thoughts:

It's a pretty good box overall. Out of the 8 products, only 1 I've received before and only 1 I did not like. As mentioned above, there's a few that I like already and a couple I'm excited to try. The overall value of this box is $145 give or take which isn't bad. Although it's not exactly blogger's picks, I still think this is a pretty decent box.
