Tonymoly Cats Wink Clear Pact Review & Giveaway! (Closed)
Hey Dreamers and Creators!
A couple of months ago, I was in need of a powder pact. I had used my old one to the grave and it was inevitable that I pick up a new one. There are tens thousands of powder pacts on the market and I just didn't know which one to get. Then I saw this Tonymoly Cats Wink Clear Pack and its adorable packaging won me over. So, of course, I had to buy it.

The powder pact is free of parabens, minerals, ethanol, benzophenone, and tar coloring. The adorable pact also comes with a build-in mirror and a puff applicator.

Please Do Not use if you are sensitive to any of its ingredients.
Packaging: Adorable is one way to describe the packaging of this pressed powder pact. It's cute cat design is not only on the pact itself, but also on its outer plastic packaging. Inside, the pact comes with a build-in mirror and a puff applicator. The pressed powder also has a paw print pressed in it and the pact's name pressed in it as well. Super cute indeed.
Scent: This pack has a light floral scent. It's a bit sweet and smells pleasant to me.
Color: When applied, the powder looks translucent with just a hint of beige.
Texture: The powder has a nice texture. It feels quite soft and nice when you run your fingers over it. It feels soft and light on the skin too, not cakey at all.
My Thoughts: I was quite surprised by this pressed powder pact. I didn't think it would work so well for me right now, but it does. The powder feels soft to the touch and applies beautifully onto the skin. It feels so light and airy, plus it doesn't look cakey at all. The powder also leave a velvet finish, which I like. It can also help to reduce the appearance of pores a tiny bit as well.
The pressed powder pact is super easy to use. I use it daily as a setting powder over my BB cushions and it works nicely. The powder has a decent lasting power, I think I usually do touch ups after 6 hours of wear. The pressed powder pact also comes with a sweet floral scent. For me, the scent is really light and smells quite pleasant as well. The adorable design is of course a plus and the light compact is travel friendly as well.
Perhaps the main downside for me is the puff applicator. Out of personal preference, I'm not a big fan of applying powder with a puff. It just doesn't work for me. So, instead, I use my portable face brush to apply the powder on the go. The other slight downside is that while this pressed powder compact has sebum control, it's not as powerful as I would like. I probably wouldn't use this during the summer time since my combo to oily skin leans more oily during the summer time. However, for fall/winter/spring, this pact is good for me as my skin is more combo and less oily during those times.
My Rating: ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ♡
Final Thoughts: This is the pact I am currently using and I am happy with it. It works nicely as a setting powder and leaves my face with a velvety finish, which I like. The pact's sebum control power is great for the current season and I suspect it would be okay for spring as well. I do think it wouldn't work out so well for me for the summer time as I'll need a sebum control powder with superpowers. However, this pressed powder pact has got some cuteness superpowers making it hard to resist.
