Ever buy something because of its adorable packaging only to find that its product is pretty good too? I have. This It's Skin Macaron Lip Balm in Strawberry is one of those items for me. I totally purchased this because of its cute macaron shape. I mean come on, just look at it, if you like macaron products, you are going to love this.

Anyways, since this is a lip balm, it didn't really cost much either. When I bought it, I figured that if I don't like it, it'll still be cute to look at and I didn't loose a fortune over it or anything. However, when I opened it, took a sniff and tried it out, oh man, did I fall in love. Read on to learn more!

Product Description: An adorable and delightfully scented macaron-shaped lip balm. This one here is in the scent strawberry. The lip balm works to moisturize the lips and nourishes it with vitamins. To keep the lips soft all day. The lip balm is formulated with ingredients like shea butter and cocoa butter. It also contains vitamin A, C, and E. 

To Use: Apply it to lips whenever it feels dry.

Packaging: I think it goes without saying that the packaging is A+! Super adorable and functions well too. The lip balm is in the shape of a macaron. It looks pretty life-like too. The outer packaging it comes with have information about the lip balm, although most are in Korean. This is a lip balm that will need the use of fingers to apply, so some might not find it sanitary. 

Scent: I love the scent. It smells like strawberry candy. It's a super sweet and lovely scent. I like that the scent doesn't really smell artificial, even though it is. 

Color: The balm is light opaque pink in color. The pink is so light that it's not noticeable at all when applied. 

Texture: It's got the same texture as most lips balms to be honest. 

My Thoughts: I'm sure you can already tell that I really like this lip balm. It can be a pain to apply it with my fingers, however, I still like to use it. It's sweet strawberry scent is just so delightful, I always find myself reaching for this lip balm. While this lip balm is travel friendly, I usually keep this for at home uses only. Again, it's due to sanitary finger reasons, but that's a personal reason. 

Aside from its amazing scent, I also like this lip balm because it's great at moisturizing my lips and helps to retain that moisture too. So I don't have to reapply as often as I do with some other lip balm. The formula is soft and not thick at all, making it easy to apply. It's also not sticky, so I don't have to worry about sticky lips. 

I do think these lip balms are great for day to day uses to keep the lips moisturized and soft. They do their jobs well. Plus they aren't expensive either. Or I guess, that also depends on where you buy them from. I should also mention that this lip balm doesn't really taste good. It's got a sweet taste, when I lick my lips after I apply it, however, it's still got that lip balmy waxy taste as well.

Final Thoughts: Overall, I really like this lip balm. It smells amazing and moisturizes the lips well. It's got a con that can make it not so pleasing, but I think we always find ways to work around those for the things we love, so the con won't be that bad. 

Would I repurchase this in the future? Probably. I do want to try out the other flavors as well, but I really like strawberry scented products, so there's a high chance I'll buy this again. Do I think this is worth a try? Heck yes. It's a super cute macaron-shaped lip balm with a sweet scent! How can you not want to try this?
