I know, I know. I totally missed Mask Monday this week and this isn't a mask review, even though there's masks in this unboxing. Kind of a long story as to why the posting times will be a bit different this week. Let's just say I have a stubborn laptop. Basically, my laptop threw a few tantrums the last couple of nights and cost me to lose some important pieces of information for the mask review and other reviews. It sucks, I know. Especially since I spent a long time translating a lot of things and thanks to my laptop, it just went poof. So, I'll have to translate them again. I promise, I'll get this week's mask review out to you guys Thursday the latest, since it's sort of Halloween related too!

Anyways, today's box of goodies is the Ariul Detox Memebox. It's got a ton of masks (perfect for a mask lover like me) and other skincare goodies. From time to time, Memebox will curate brand specific boxes. I've seen Shara Shara, Tonymoly, Etude House, Holika Holika, etc. This time, they decided to create a box of Ariul goodies that aims at detoxifying the skin while healing it. I purchased it right away because it's filled with masks and it's got a product I've always wanted to try. 

If you are new to Memebox, they are a beauty box company based in US, China, and South Korea. They sell non-subscription boxes and Korean beauty products via their online website. Ariul 7Days Mask - Avocado
3 masks, $6,

Product Description: Avocados are known for its antioxidant properties. It's also rich in vitamins. This mask will be able to hydrate the skin while detoxifying it. To use, cleanse and tone the skin first. Take the mask out of its packaging and apply it onto the skin. Leave it on for 20 minutes, then remove the sheet and dispose properly. Massage any remaining essence into the skin and allow it to absorb fully.

My Thoughts: I don't think I've ever tried an avocado sheet mask for the face, so this ought to be interesting. I have a feeling I'm either going to really like it or really hate it. I kind of hope it doesn't smell like avocado. While I love eating avocado and all, I don't think I'd like it if my face smells like avocado. Will report back on these!


Ariul 7Days Mask - Lemon

Product Description: This mask in enriched with pure and natural lemon concentrate to help improve the skin's texture and complexion. Lemons are known to help perfect uneven skin tone and lighten dark spots. This mask will be able to help in those areas too. It can also help to balance moisture levels and control excess sebum.

My Thoughts: I think I've only ever used a lemon mask once from a different brand. Honestly, I don't remember how I thought of it. It must have not been that memorable. Anyways, sebum controlling masks are always a must try for me, so I am excited for this. Will report back!


Ariul 7Days Mask - Acai Berry

Product Description: Acai berry is rich in antioxidants and can help to brighten the skin too. This mask will have both properties while it helps the skin to reach a healthier state. To use, start by cleansing and toning the skin. Place the mask onto the skin and leave it on the face for 30 minutes minutes. Remove after and pat in any remaining essence.

My Thoughts: Ah, the acai berry. I remember when the acai berry became the big health food trend, it was interesting. I was never into that trend, however, mask with acai berry? Sure, why not. Innisfree actually have masks with acai berry too, but I haven't had the chance to buy it yet. So, this will most likely be my first acai berry mask. Unless, of course, Innisfree have their 10 for 10 mask promotions again. Then, I will be all over that and haul myself some masks!


Ariul 7Days Mask - Bamboo Water

Product Description: Bamboo water is rich in amino acids and vitamin E. Both of which can help the skin achieve a healthier look. This mask contains filtered bamboo water that will not only help to hydrate the skin but also works the relieve skin exhaustion and provide a refreshing feeling when used.

My Thoughts: I've only ever tried one bamboo mask from another brand and I remember it being super refreshing. So, I hope this mask will provide a similar feeling too. I like how each of the 7Days mask have a little blurb in the front of the packaging. It's a story of how the mask will help nourish the skin after a long day at work or school or whatever else. The little blurb on the mask also tells you how long you should wear the mask for. In this case with Bamboo water, it looks like the mask can be worn for 30 minutes.


Ariul Juice Cleanse Mask - Raspberry & Lentil

Product Description: Formulated with berry extract and lentil fruit extract, this mask will work to detoxify the skin and provide nutrients to it. Lentil and raspberry are both rich nutrients and antioxidants. Together, they can help eliminate toxins in the skin and promote a brighter complexion.

My Thoughts: I've never tried juice cleanse. However, in the name of skincare loving, beauty blogger, mask lover-ness I will try them. A quick look at it's ingredients tells me, I might like this mask. Assuming it won't have any negative effects on my sensitive skin. This mask has a variety of berry ingredients aside from raspberry, such as acai berry, blue berry, and blackberry. It also contains naicinamide and honey extract as well. I will report back on this.


Ariul Juice Cleanse Mask - Spearmint & Green Apple

Product Description: Formulated with apple extract, spearmint extract, tomato extract, pineapple extract and more this mask will help to soothe exhausted skin. It can also help to calm down irritated skin and provide deep cleansing. Green apple can also help to aid in healing and repairing of troubled skin.

My Thoughts: Spearmint and green apple sounds like an interesting pair. Kind of wonder if it would taste good as a juice combo. I do like the looks of the various veggie and fruit extracts in the mask. It's got cabbage extract too. That's most definitely a first for me.


Ariul Juice Cleanse Mask - Wheat & Celery

Product Description: Rich in fiber and vitamins, this mask offers the skin nutrients that will strengthen its immunity. It can also help to balance the skin's moisture level while providing it a velvety feel and radiant look.

My Thoughts: This sounds like an nasty tasting combo. I hope it doesn't smell bad. The various extracts looks interesting. It's got pear, avocado, kohlrabi, celery, and wheat. It sounds like it would make an very unpleasantly tasting drink. However, I do wonder how well it would work as a mask.


Ariul Juice Cleanse Mask - Kale & Grapefruit

Product Description: Refresh your skin with a mask that can revitalize and improve overall skin complexion. This mask have an abundant amount of nutrients to help the skin feel rejuvenated all day. It contains various fruit and vegetable extracts as well as vitamin c to help brighten the skin.

My Thoughts: I know I will be patch testing this mask cautiously. I have a mild allergy to raw carrots. Although, if the carrots have been cooked in a stew for like 4+ hours, then I'm not allergic to it. Weird, I know, but it's got something to do with carrot pollen. Anyways, I have avoided products with carrots in them, however, I'm really intrigued by these Juice Cleanse mask. I will post likely patch test this thoroughly before trying it on my face. I do not want an allergic reaction/break out.


Ariul Stress Relieving Purefull Cleansing Foam
75ml, $18

Product Description: A cleansing foam that uses micro bubbles to help penetrate deep into the pores and cleanse well. It's formulated with aromatherapy oils to help soothe irritated skin. It can also help to revitalize dull skin.

My Thoughts: This is probably the product that I care about the least in this box. I have amased a ton of facial cleansers from past Memeboxes and have been sharing with friends and family. I have no idea if I'll try this cleanser out or not. If I don't try it, it'll most likely be given away to someone else.


Ariul Spa Water 24hr Moisturizing Refreshing Mist
100ml, $19

Product Description: A refreshing and hydrating mist. It's enriched with mineral spring water that's rich in vitamins and minerals. It works to soothe and hydrate the skin. The mist can be applied whenever needed to refresh and soothe the skin.

My Thoughts: This, was the product that sealed the deal for me in getting this detox Memebox. This product was featured in another Memebox in the past that I didn't purchase. I've been loving mists lots lately and is on the hunt for some awesome mists, so I couldn't pass the chance to try out this mist. I will report back on it.


Final Thoughts: I really like this box. Aside from the foam cleaner, who's fate it yet to be determined. I will try and test all the other products. I am going to be very cautious with the kale & grapefruit mask, as explained before. Hopefully, nothing bad will come from it. Aside from that, I look forward to testing and review the rest of the goodies.
